Mithrandir + Gong
Connecting Gong gives every AI agent your company uses what customers actually said on recorded calls. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Cursor answer with the call and the moment behind it, tied to the customer account. Each person sees only the calls Gong already lets them see, and private calls stay with their participants.
What it reads
What Mithrandir reads from Gong
- Recorded calls with their title, date and participants
- What was said on each call, by speaker
- The customer account each call is linked to
Access
The access rules that carry over
- Gong's own access levels carry over: all calls, calls of the people who report to you, your team's calls, or your own.
- People Gong gives access to a single call see that call.
- A private call is seen by its owner and its internal participants. Admins and managers do not get it.
Setup
Set up in three steps
- 1
A Gong technical admin creates one read-only API key for the company.
- 2
Your recorded calls come in, and new calls follow as they are processed.
- 3
People ask from the agent they already use and get answers from the calls they can see.
Examples
What your agents can now answer
- “What objections did this prospect raise across our last three calls?”
- “How did the customer describe their current setup on the discovery call?”
- “Which competitors came up in calls with this account?”
Questions
Gong and Mithrandir, answered
- Are private calls included?
- Yes, for the people who were on them. A private call is seen by its owner, its internal participants and anyone Gong gave access to it. Nobody else.
- Does it work with our CRM?
- Yes. Calls are linked to the customer account they belong to, so an agent can answer from the call and the account together.
- Does Mithrandir change anything in Gong?
- No. Gong access is read-only.
